(1) Portsmonth. 1510 Arrived off Dover. 2200 Went alonguide th Total 48:hip Cap Pinede and embarked munitions. 31st May 0400 Completed embarkation of munitions. 0550 Sailed B.B. escort of a convoy consistin of: the Ingenieur Cachin, Cap D'Antifer, Francois Tixier, and Isma 1200 Moored at Dunkirk. Unloaded munitions D.M. Embarked 100 French troops, straggling British troops and French administra tive personnel. 1600 Sailed. 1620 Heavy air attack in Dunkirk roads. 2200 Anchored off the South Foreland. let June 0800 Secured in Dover harbour. Disembarked 62 troops. (1) 1330 The Reine des Flote sailed for Dunkirk 1650 In the vicinity of U bucy, attacked by six bombers. Near misses. 1710 Four of the bombers retreated and the other two were driven off by a Britis fighter. 2030 Secured in Dunkirk harbour. Embarked 350 troops. 2130 Sailed. 2nd June 0115 Anchored off North Goodwin. 0630 Arrived off Ramsgate. Disembarked 350 troops (2) in English boats during the forenoon. 1600 Sailed for Dunkirk. The dr. Epervier signalled only to sail by night. Navigation rendered difficult by the number of wrecks in the fairway. Ships grounded and on fire. 2000 The H/C Paris was attacked by aircraft and ran aground. 2230 Secured in Dunkirk harbour. Embarked 500 troops during a violent bombard- ment. 2300 Sailed. Air attacks en route. 3rd June 0400 Anchored off North Goodwin. 0900 Arrived off Ramagate. Disembarked 500 troops, (3) by English boats. 1900 Sailed for Dunkirk. 2400 Arrived off Dunkirk. Picked up 3 shipwrecked sailors and 2 soldiere from a boat. 4th June 0020 Secured alongaide. Embarked 400 troope 0100 Sailed. 0200ce off 6 W buoy, in collision with an English mail boat on opposite course. Damaged.
