Arrived 11/2 miles E. of Dunkirk roads.
Remained anchored off all night but due to
Jri shortage of boats was unable to embark any troops until 0500 on 31st May when a motor boat and two cutters were requisitioned with which 400 troops were embarked. These were disembarked at Margate.
Returned to Ramsgate and anchored off the harbour for further orders.

Schoot "Twente" not required so joined power boat "Hague" with Cmdr. Troop R.N., Lieut. de
Mauny R.N. and Sub. Lt. Hollingswear R.N.R.
and proceeded to the inner harbour at Dunkirk where French soldiers were embarked and ferried across to a waiting transport in the roads
