Commodore R.N.B. Chatham states that PRINCESS JULIANA commissioned at Chathan on 27th May, 1940. Commodore-in-Charge Sheerness states that there is no record of her being paid off at Sheerness, that she did not take part in operation Dynamo owing to engine defects and that shipkeepers were placed on board on 31st May, remaining till 8th June, when this vessel was towed away by the tug VESTA for Deptford. for Head of Military Branch.
