Fleet and Flag Officer in Charge,
MEMORANDUM.
London.
No. 402/40/40.
The Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty having directed that His Majesty's Ship "GCRECHT"
is to be commissioned on 9th June 1940, or as soon afterwards as circumstances permit, as a tender to
H.M.S. "PEMBROKE", you are to proceed to commission that vessel, and to cause the utmost despatch to be used, so far as the same may depend upon you, in preparing for sea accordingly.
Given under my hand at the Port of London
Authority Building, London, E.C. 3. this 9th day of
June 1940.
