A note about image and OCR quality

Noteworthy action of crew of five of "Excellent" motor boat attached to Hopper FOREMOST 102. On the evening of May 31st, during a bombing raid on Bray beach, east of Dunkirk harbour, their boat was thrown over and capsized, throwing themselves and about twenty French soldiers into the sea. The crew then proceeded to drag the Frenchmen ashore, saving nearly all of them, and then tirelessly proceeded to right their doat and used it further to get more soldiers aboard. Names of crew: Ldg. Sea. H.H. Dixon - PJX 131223 Ldg. Sto. W.C. Ingram - PK 20348 A.B. L.C.F. Cass - PJ 95180 A.B. J. Maynard - PJ 102850 A.B. E. Davies of PJX 128361 also courage and endurance of P.O. J.S. Wood P.J.108457 and Stoker 11. Carr P.K. 61925 in keeping their boat and engine running when half waterlogged in same raid. May I mention particularly the spirit of civilian of crew of Hopper FOREMOST 102 who continued members rescue work for over five hours in the surf, and all of whom volunteered for further rescue work.
