Minutes of Meeting held on 21st November were agreed. 2. Matters arising were discussed:- (a) "Renown" Arising from this case it was agreed to approach Mr. Harvey of Sittingbourne with a view to his acting as valuer for Thames Estuary Bawley Boats and similar craft. (b) "Madame Sansgene" Agreed to withhold further action pending confirmation of the present system of valuation of yachts, motor launches, &c. (c) "New Prince of Wales" Arising from this case it was agreed to approach Mr. Fredk. Shepherd of 199, Piccadilly with a view to his acting as valuer for Small Passenger Service Craft. (a) "Lijns" Agreed to accept the owner's statement that the ladies clothing claimed for was on board, and, in view of the fact that it had been kept on board for 8 months before the vessel was requisitioned, to offer £10 in settlement. 3. Report of Payments for period ending 3rd December amounting to £4,160.9.8d was presented and passed. 4. The following cases were discussed:- a Total Loss:- (a) "CYB" Agreed to offer £400 with discretion to, increase to £450. (b) "Handy Billy" Agreed to pay £213.18.6d as claimed. (c) "Mirasol" Agreed that the survey report produced by the owner is not alone to be accepted as basis of value. (a) "Enterprise" } Agreed to be dealt with as in 2 (c) above.
