Agreed to obtain valuation from
Mr. Barnett and then to confirm the verbal offer of £100, owner to keep vessel.
(h) "Rocinante":
Agreed not to sell the vessel which will be put under Care and
Maintenance.
(j) "Enchantress":
Agreed to negotiate up to £925 plus interest and hire.
(k) "Good Hope":
Agreed to obtain Mr. Shepherd's valuation.
(1) "Hazard":
Agreed to ask for further particulars of gear on board, and negotiate up to £250 if necessary.
(m) "Dreadnought II":
Agreed to negotiate up to £950 which is Mr. Shepherd's valuation.
(n) "Dreadnought III":
Agreed to negotiate up to £900 which is Mr. Shepherd's valuation.
(o) "Leader":
Agreed to arrange for Mr. Cameron
(P.C.O.S.T.) to interview the owner and to have a free hand to obtain the best settlement possible.
(p) "Mare Nostrum":
Agreed to refer to the Solicitor's
Department for advice as to committee's future conduct of this case.
(q) "Lord Fisher":
Agreed to withdraw offer of hire at 6/- per foot per day and inform owners that settlement will be made when Ratesof Hire of Drifters are finally fixed.
