I beg leave to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 19th instant dealing with the services of this Institution'
Life-boats in connexion with the evacuation of Dunkirk, and to enclose for your information copies of reports made by the
Honorary Secretary and Coxswain of the Margate and Ramsgate
Life-boats. These were the only two Life-boats which operated in the evacuation with their own crews; the other Life-boats employed being manned by Naval ratings.
Copies of the reports which I now enclose were forwarde to Mr. Guttery of the Ministry of Shipping on the 26th July.
