Director correspondence of Sea Transport dated 20th July, 1940, T.09144/S.T.N.6B. 21 2.- It appears that the latter correspondence, which was also addressed to the Commanders in Chief, Portsmouth and The Nore other authorities, obviates the need for reply to M.011106/40. besides This has been semi-officially confirmed in telephone conversation with the Director of Small Vessels Pool. 30- The correspondence which has been received to date is nevertheless submitted for the information of Their Lordships as the reports may be of value in providing a check on information already available.
