went to look for lock gatemen managed to get them to open locks for us to enter Dock planes still bombing and kept bombing all night. Midnight made fast in berth.

The Naval Officer who spoke to us at 8 p.m.
promised to berth us but we did not see him until 5 a.m.
on the 23rd, we were on the wrong berth. 5.15 a.m. shifted.
