2. The ship carried 12,436 packages of food supplies and a deck cargo of 300 cases of Diesel oil.

After wiping and embarkation of Naval Stores at Tilbury the ship proceeded to Southend for compass adjustment p.m. Sunday
26th May, 1940. Arrival at Sheerness was delayed by having to tow the Dutch Schoot "ANTJE" for adjustment of her compasses.
4.
"BART" arrived at Sheerness a.m. Monday 27th May, 1940.
Further Naval Stores were received onboard including 100 gallons of paraffin, 320 life belts, 2 special gang planks and a spar.
5.
"BART" was ordered to proceed to South Downs and sailed from Sheerness at 1830 on 27th May.
6.
On arrival in South Downs "BART" was ordered to enter
Dover Harbour where a further 240 gallons of netrol were placed onboard.

7. In execution of orders received from the Vice-Admiral
Commanding, Dover, "BART" proceeded to sea at 1400 on Tuesday
28th May, closed the Southern Inspection Vessel in the South
Downs, received from her a route for Dunkerque, and anchored off the Guardship to await the arrival of motor boars for refuelling.
8. On Friday 7th June, "BART" was ordered to Sheerness for de-stor-ing; Reserve Supply Wharf, Deptford for unloading; and was paid off in Surrey Commercial Docks p.m. 11th June, 1940.

Fore port regging screws carried away, Bulmarks bent, cable pipe fractured and displaced, Port light house disturbed
Temporary repairs were effected.

Poop rails bent and broken. Wheel house tilled forwards with windows broken and woodwork generaly displaced.
Steering gear housing moved forward, causing slight jamming of wheel and rendering steering year hard to operate.
