A note about image and OCR quality

Every reasonable effort has been made to present these document images as flat, straight and accurately cropped as possible. Towed in two tows of two. Sto. Beach Went to beach near Dunkirk harbour cast off PKX 90016. tow, collected troops from beach and forried Ord.Sea. them to WORCESTER. Soldiers climbed about themselves. Took about 20 a trip. About one hour for the round trip. Were machine gunned - boat was holed and made so much water 18 had to be beached and abandoned. Joined the EASTBOURNE QUEEN by using & rowing boat found on the beach. Troops boarded MASTBOURNES QUICKN by wading out up to their shoulders. EASTBOURNE QUIXTY took about 40 to the WORCESTER which then (about 1600/1st) went alongside pier. WORDESTER was continually bombed, fragements from near misses killed 3 and wounded several nearby.
