M.T.B.16 1st M.T.B. Flotilla Lieut. P.F.S.Gould, R.N, 28th May 0640 Left Dover for Dunkirk. M.T.B.68 left astern. shortly afterwards and formed 0830 [1130 Arrived Dunkirk. M.T.B.68 proceeded to Dover with a message from S.N.O.]. - Off Bray Dunes. In seven trips, ferried about 300 troops to waiting 1530ca destroyers (notably the Vivacious). Air attack. One plane brought down off Bray by M.T.B.16(1) 2100 To Dunkirk (with centre engine out of 2230 action and no astern power). Secured at Dunkirk. 2310 Left for Bray Dunes. 2350 Returned to Dunkirk and secured for the night. 29th May [0005 M.T.B.68 secured alongside with S.O., M.T.B's Dover (Lt. Cdr. S.H. Dennis, R.N.) on board]. 0550 Proceeded. 0845 Arrived Dover. 1005 Left Dover for Felixstowe for repairs.
