y dear Dobson,
Thank you for your letter F.G.B.
28 of the 11th December, about the
Pleetwood trawlers at Dunkirk. I am having some enquiries made at Dover and the Nore, but this is the first we have heard of it at the Admiralty so that it looks as if Lt.Jordan's report had miscarried.
The decorations given to some of
GAVA's" crew were for saving certain rench seamen. This action formed the subject of a separate report and th act that it was considered does not ean that a report on these trawlers'
eneral service in the Dunkirk operaions was also before us.
