"Botanic" and "Maretta" heavily bombed on return from Calais. Both ships damaged. (Maretta 3 weeks refitting).
28th May.
"Thomas Bartlett" mined on own field.
10 survivors.
29th May.
"Comfort" believed rammed.
"Nautilus" damaged by bombs, and destroyed by fire. All saved (See report of Lieutenant Gelling No.4).
"Calvi" bombed and sunk - Dunkirk
Harbour.
"Polly Johnson" badly damaged, and sunk by "Arley" (See report No.5c).
1st June.
"Brock" damaged by several near misses.
