A note about image and OCR quality

I attach a list of these ships, with the dates upon which they were lost, the names of their senior surviving Officers, and of the present appointments and locations of these officers BO far as they are at present known. Plag Officers and Naval Officers in charge at the ports concerned have been informed in the sense of the enclosed copy of a letter that you are to conduct this enquiry.
