Officer for advancement to the rank of Lieutenant. Sub. Lieutenant A.Davidson R.N.R. who under fire took away the motor launch in order to rescue a British Airman in Dunkirk Roads. Temp. Sub. Lieut. (E) H.Henshaw R.N.R. who throughout the operation remained in the Engineroom in order to maintain and even exceed the designed speed of the Ship. The remainder of the Ship's Company were in excellent spirits throughout, remaining at their posts	Lormont Success Dover Roads
