Boat was taken close to Beach One to land four Officers but shallow water made this impracticable. The officers were put aboard a Destroyer off Beach 1 and landed in Boats. This procedure was carried out at each of the other beaches landing four officers at each beach. Motor A/S Boat No.7 then entered Dunkirk Harbour to deliver a Secret Hand message to the Senior Naval Officer, Dunkirk. It was found that S.N.O. Dunkirk was aboard H.M.S. "Hebe". The secret hand message was delivered to S.N.O. and thirtyeight French soldiers embarked 0725. Motor A/S Boat No.7 left Dunkirk in accordance with previous orders. 1035. Boat arrived at Dover. 1100.
