We proceeded to Poole & obtained fuel, food, charts, & crews for the 2 boats, & left Poole for
Dover at 3.00 p.m., wind being N.W., & 4 hrs. ebb tide yet to run.
After a very steady run we arrived off Dover at 1.00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30th & proceeded to the examination ship for orders. After much signalling between ship & shore we were instructed to proceed inside the harbour, & report to the Naval authorities, to
