"King" and served a very useful purpose.
These boats could have been manned by volunteers of this Company, but unfortunately for them, it was found that their services were of greater value in preparing other boats of the Fleet for a like purpose.
We might mention, that be sides these three boats, seven others of the Fleet were put into commission, but unfortunately not in time to be of service.
