Minutes of Meeting held on 10th July were agreed.
2.
Claims for loss of earnings were again discussed. It
was agreed that in approved cases payments may be made in
compensation without admission of the right of owner's
to loss of earnings.

Report of Payments for the fortnight ending 23rd July
amounting to £788.11.2₫ was presented and passed.
4.
The following cases were discussed:-
(a) "Britamic", Total Loss: Agreed to ask the local
Fishing Officer to enquire into the possibility of
purchasing a vessel which can be handed to the
Owners in replacement of the "Britannic".
(b) "Commodore". Agreed to pay for T.L. as claimed and
invite owner, in consideration, not to press his
claim for loss of profits.
(c) "Sailing Barges". Agreed that owners be invited to
discuss settlements in full and finally on the
following approximate basis:-
(1) "Shannon"
£500 - £550.
(2) "Hastaway"
£150 - £175.
(3) "Ashingdon"
£100 - £125.
(4) "Ada Mary"
£250
(5) "Basildon"
£250 - £275.
(6) "Burton"
In view of the high estimated
cost of repair, value of the
barge to be ascertained, with
