evacuation of the B.E.F. from Dunkirk, in order that it may be preserved as a permanent record of the gallantry and devotion which were displayed during the operations. For the purpose of such a record it is essential to include such original matter 19th September, 1940.

end 1t 16 thought that the Coxswains of the various lireboats may have submitted reports or general accounts of their experiences, which would be of considerable interest.
It would be greatly appreciated therefore if you would be good enough to forward to this department Van
