With reference to the recent evacuation of personnel from Dunkirk, a number of small craft utilized in the operation have been unofficially reported lost and there are also a number whose whereabouts cannot be traced. A
list of these vessels is forwarded herewith.
You are requested to insert any information in your possession which will assist this Department in disposing of claims which are being received from individual owners in respect of compensation for the non-return of their vessels. The lists should be returned to this Department as early as possible.
