A note about image and OCR quality

With regard to the S.S. 'Hythe', I cannot do better than send you herewith the report the Master made to our Docks and Marine Manager on the 9th June. You will see that Captain Morford not only went to Dunkirk, but, failing to get a load of troops from the Beaches he went beyond his instructions and entered Harbour and was successful in evacuating 674 Officers and men.
