It is very gratifying to my Board to know that these Officers and the ships' companies under their command did their duty and worthily upheld the glorious traditions of the Merchant Navy to which they are so proud to belong. With respect to the dereliction of duty on the part of certain of the personnel of the "BEN MY CHREE", "TYNWALD" and "MANXMAN", I am endeavouring to obtain authentic particulars of 12a. the Officers and men who continued at their posts and will forward you the desired lists as soon as possible.
