I find, however, that reports from the Masters of the Southern Railway vessels engaged in the evacuation were submitted to the Flag Officer Commanding Dover, through the P.S. T. 0., and possibly in the circumstances there will be no need to take further steps. The matter has already been mentioned to Captain Smith of the Ministry, but perhaps you will let me know if I. can do anything more. I am, Sir, Your obedient Servant, E.7.
