A note about image and OCR quality

We proceeded through Dnons but failed to see the Forde r continued on our course. When nearing V. Buay the weather became a dense fog. that we last sight of the tug Foremost. so we reduced speed, sounding the tugs whistle untill the Foremost was close to us. The for lifted became pateby 2 we proceeded on at full speed on course for W. buay. We then set course to Mo 5v6 buay Dunhirh Roads. Whilst on this course several German planes were over head the machinegun was fired by Dr. Robinson. We arrived If Dunkirh Pierheads about 30 rm, when a message wassent been sent over to assist the Bideford. We in to the signal station informing them we then had received a message to come inside X berth along side the East pier We arrived alongside the Rier about 6. 50 RM, H Robinson orders went to cancelled up orders given for the Continue try to overleaf. remain, by load with troops return, but on shore for orders.
