A note about image and OCR quality

Every reasonable effort has been made to present these document images as flat, straight and accurately cropped as possible. RATINGS: Chief Engineman A.A. Storr, X.6082, E.S. - FEASIBLE. After his Drifter had broken down due to near miss from shell-fire, showed great devotion to duty and determination in trying to maintain steam in face of continuous bombing and shell-fire. Recommended for decoration. The following ratings all showed a splendid example under trying circumstances when under constant bombing and shell fire, and they are accordingly recommended for mention: Stoker R. Whiteley, KX. 100149 - "John and Norah". Second Hand John William Crawford, LT/JX. 173174 "Swift Wing". Able Seaman Alan Morrison, X. 7814 C. "Jeannie McIntosh". Seaman John Guyan Mearns.
