A note about image and OCR quality

Leading Seaman Percy Ward, JX.134801. Able Seaman Sydney Davey, D/JX, 146839. M.T.B. 102 - Lieutenant Christopher William Stuart Dreyer, R.N. This boat completed five trips. On the first, proceeded to the beaches and assisted generally. Attacked by aircraft. On the second day, again proceeded to the beaches with Admiral aircraft. Wake-Walker, being shelled and also attacked by Rescued personnel from H.M.S. KEITH and again attacked by aircraft. Recommendations. OFFICER. Lieutenant Christopher William Stuart Dreyer. R.N. In command showed great skill, determination initiative and gallantry in all the operations in which he was engaged off Dunkirk. He was continually under shell fire and attacked from aircraft. Recommended for decoration. RATINGS. Engine Room Artificer 3rd Cl. William Hymas, MX.49826. Maintained and ran his engines continuously under most difficult conditions, and it was entirely due to him that the boat was able to maintain its efficiency throughout the operation. Recommended for decoration. Able Seaman Albert R. C. Stephens, P/JX. 131369. Displayed great coolness throughout the operations, manned his guns permanently. His coolness and cheer--- fulness were of the greatest help in maintaining the morale, whilst his skill with his gun discouraged hostile aircraft when they were encountered.
