A note about image and OCR quality

I now wish to inform you that I WELLS Chief Officer of the ISLE OF COMMISSEY with Captain Hodges up to the time of has return from her last Dunicisk voyage, namely from February 21st, 1540, until May 31st 1940, since which date I have been mainly on the sick list and had not heard of these misplaced Awards until recently.
