Dear Mr. Van Campenhout,
On the First Lord's recomendation, and subject to the agreement of the Belgian Government, the King has approved the
Immediate Award of the Distinguished Service Cross to Acting
Leading Seaman Georges François Ragaert.,LE/SB/JX.62 for his good services, of which we have only just learned, in the withdrawal from Dunkirk. As Master of M.V.2.50, LYDIE ZUZANNA, he carried several shiploads of English soldiers.
I hope that your Government will agree to the acceptance of this well-deserved Award.
