I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 25th October, 1941, informing us that the King has approved the immediate award of the Distinguished Service
Cross to Acting Leading Seaman Georges François RAGAERT,
LT/SB/JX.62, for his good services in the withdrawal from Dunkirk.
I am directed by the Minister of Communications to inform you that the Belgian Government fully agrees to the acceptance of this award and is most gratified at the honour conferred on one our brave sailors.
