A note about image and OCR quality

Every reasonable effort has been made to present these document images as flat, straight and accurately cropped as possible. The Chief Boatswain's Mate displayed courage throughout - excellent example to all hands. Was conspicuous in the work of embarking troops from pier and by boat. Recommended for decoration. Able Seaman John E. Reynolds, P/JX.147968. For his courage and skill at the Pom-Poms where he was ultimately killed. Recommended for posthumous decoration. Stoker T. Moscrop, P/KX.83677. For his courage and zeal in assisting the ammunition supply at 'A' gun and in relieving the wounded. He was killed performing this duty. Recommended for posthumous decoration. E.R.A. 2nd Class Ronald W. Brenton, P/MX.46507. Petty Officer Lawrence Motteram, P/JX.129270, Gunner's Mate. Petty Officer Benjamin Matthews, J.3593, Coxswain.
