In charge of motor launch and with great devotion to duty and gallantry assisted wounded from the beach, and also towed other boats from the beach to the ship.
Recommended for decoration.
John Develend Connell, T.124.
In addition to his ordinary duties in the Engine
Room, volunteered for manning of the boats taking troops from the beaches.
Recommended for mention.
