Search for Hurricane.
At approximately 1100 S.0.6 and 7
were instructed to search for Hurricane reported in sea, position
5 to 10 miles S.W. of Goodwins. Course was set S.3. from Dover
until Goodwins bore N.E. Boats then opened up to approximately
2000 yards and swept 10 miles S.W. Course was then altered
to S.E. and again to N.E. and sweep carried back to opposite Dover.
