I have the honour is report the proceedings of H.M. Ship HILDA (Late
Dutch school) under my command from
Sunday May 26th is Wednesday The 5ᵗʰ 1940
The ship commissioned at TELBURY
at 1000 on May 26th Necessary stares were placed enbourd and wiping completed
Considerable chippinely was experienced wilk the engines due to incapariened personnel, the delaying Sailing until 0500 May 27th.
Ship was Sway for adjustment of compasses A.M. May 27th at Southerd and then proceeded E Sheeracis where further necessary stores were placed an board.

At 1800 I proceded to Southerd for rante instructions with orders LS peaced is Dunkisk, and Subsequently left Southerd is company wick Dossus Bank about
