A note about image and OCR quality

With reference to paragraph 2 of C.P.G.O. No. 1700, I have interrogated the crews of the motor boats concerned and consider that Able Seaman Strand acted with coolness and resource under fire in that he took charge of the boat when his officers and coxswain had been wounded and took action to enable identification of the boat to be effected.
