A note about image and OCR quality

Every reasonable effort has been made to present these document images as flat, straight and accurately cropped as possible. Can you please ascertain, and report to me, what members of his crew should also be brought to the notice of the Director of Sea Transport for reward. I was on the quay at the time and can therefore endorse all parts of Lieutenant Whittle's report, which refers to work done alongside the quay. My address up to 4th June will be care of P.S.T.O., South-Western Hotel, Southampton, for Principal Sea Transport Officer, French Ports, (Commodore W.P.Gandell,R.N.) (signed) Secretary, II.
