A note about image and OCR quality

This quite baffled me and I thought that they must have been sent to fetch off some of the Naval lending party, but I realise now that the party concerned was the H.Q. "XEXST"S" boats were at once sent in, but to my surprise Lord Gort Y.O.D not in the first boat and I learnt that he was in "HERE" already. Three taxipo were necessary to bring off his staff and a heavy air attack book place while this was going on. One plane tried to bomb the boats and they had a mireculous escape. I saw one bomb burst between than 08 they 1701'0 loading up and the motor boat returned covered in grey mul. Many air attacks were made at this time on the ships and baschos, and "HEBE" shot down a Heinkel.
