A note about image and OCR quality

Every reasonable effort has been made to present these document images as flat, straight and accurately cropped as possible. Final order to block is to be given by Captain Dangerfield who will enter Dunkirk ahead of forces and consult with Admiral Nord as necessary. Owing to the tide, blockships cannot enter Dunkirk harbour after 0300 on night 2nd/3rd June. 1300/2 3. ADMIRALTY to S.N.O. DUNKIRK (R) V.A. Dover, R.A. Dover Straits French now state that following has been received from Admiral Nord. "Evacuation will not be completed during the night of 2nd/3rd. Blocking of Dunkirk must not take place for the moment". We hope, however, to complete evacuation tonight and blockships are being sent.
