Emergency evacuation across the Channel of very large
forces (Plan Dynamo)

Reference Instruction No. 1, dated 24 May, Plan Dynamo is now in
operation. Inward movement during 27 May may reach 20,000.
Movement organization

The general direction of the plan rests with Movement Control, War
Office, Q(M)2 (Ext. 436 or 924).
The following control points are now established in addition to the
usual Movement Controls at Dover, Folkestone, Newhaven (P.O. telephone
Newhaven 241) and Southampton.
